The Soldotna volleyball team went on the road to notch a 3-1 nonconference victory over Homer on Tuesday. The scores were 32-34, 25-21, 25-18 and 25-17.
The Stars are now 3-5 in nontournament play, while the Mariners are 2-3.
Katelyn Morrison had 17 digs and 12 kills for the Stars, while Nicole Dickinson had 23 assists, Sadie Lane had 19 kills, and Hallie Fischer had five blocks and five aces.
For Homer, Izze Dye had eight kills and four aces, Nevaeh Diaz had seven kills, Gracie Miotke had seven kills and Brooke Shafer had 26 assists.
