The Soldotna and Wasilla baseball teams played to a 5-all tie Saturday in the third-place game of the Buddy Dale Invitational in Wasilla.
The Division II Stars are now 2-6-2 and have played only Division I competition so far.
SoHi, the three-time defending Division II state champs, hosts Division II opponent Kenai Central, third at state last season, at 6 p.m. Monday.

Jack Harper slammed the door with two scoreless innings, giving up a hit while walking two.
Brett Hostetler and Brenden Theel led the Stars at the plate.
Hostetler was 2 for 4 with a run and two RBIs, while Theel was 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI.
Matt Schilling and Jett Brophy made the all-tournament team for the Stars.
