The Peninsula Wild Volleyball Club held tournaments this weekend at Skyview Middle School and the Soldotna Prep building.
There were four age groups with a total of 32 teams.
At 18 and under, the Wild finished second. At 16 and under, Wild teams finished third and fourth. At 15 and under, Wild teams finished first and third. At 12 and under, Wild teams finished second, fourth and fifth.
Statewide, USA Volleyball ranks teams in three age groups.
There are 37 teams in the 16 to 18 age group. The Wild 18 and under squad was ranked third coming into the tournament, while the Wild 16 and under are ranked 12th and 22nd.
There are 34 teams in the 13 to 15 age group. Wild 15 and under teams rank second, third and fifth.
There are 13 teams 12 and under. The Wild 12 and under teams are ranked fifth, sixth and ninth.
