Nikiski grad Carstens gets college hoops career off to fast start

Bethany Carstens, a 2019 graduate of Nikiski High School, has gotten her basketball career at Division I Chicago State University off to a fast start.

In just her second game, Carstens cracked the starting lineup against Arizona. She made 4 of 8 shots and scored 10 points in an 82-50 loss to the Wildcats. She also grabbed two rebounds.

Carstens has hit 2 of her 3 3-pointers in each of her two games.
