The Nikiski football team pulled away from host Barrow for a 42-12 victory in small-schools action Saturday.

Barrow got on the board first with a return of a blocked punt, but the Bulldogs took a 7-6 lead on a scoring strike from Cade Anderson to Hunter Holloway. It would be the first of four TD passes for Anderson — three coming to Holloway.

Anderson struck again to Patrick Perry for 5 yards for a 14-6 lead after one quarter.

But Barrow cut the lead to 14-12 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Holloway caught 4- and 19-yard scoring passes, while Corin Cooper also ran for a touchdown.

Dylan Broussard finished up the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 1-yard run.

Rykker Riddall led the Bulldogs with 14 carries for 103 yards. Anderson was 9 of 12 for 87 yards and no interceptions.
