Homer softball drops final 2 at Kodiak tourney

The Homer softball team dropped two games Saturday in the Emerald Isle Invitational in Kodiak.

Saturday, the tournament featured bracket play and Homer lost 10-7 to Eagle River and 5-4 to North Pole to fall to 2-7 overall.

Kodiak won the championship by topping North Pole 7-6 in five innings in the if-necessary game.
