Edwards-Smith, Aldridge win FFS #6 bike race

Race two of the Freezer Food Series went to winners Dave Edwards-Smith and Morgan Aldridge, Sunday at the Tsalteshi Trails in Soldotna.

Edwards-Smith tackled the bike course of over three miles in a time of 23 minutes flat, while Mike Crawford finished second in 23:47. Aldridge was the women’s winner and third overall in 26:06, while Jen Showalter was second among women in 30:20, fourth overall.

The winter race series continues next Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with another bike race. A course map and specific trailhead will be posted on the Tsalteshi Trails Facebook page.
