Colony wrestlers stop Homer in dual

The visiting Colony wrestling defeated Homer in a dual meet 51-22 on Thursday.

The Knights are one of the top Division I teams in the state, while the Mariners are one of the top Division II squads. The event was senior night for Homer, which was wrestling its final home meet of the season.

Forfeits played a big role in the final score, with Colony picking up four forfeit to account for 24 points.

The Mariners got pins from Kyle Wells at 220 pounds and Luciano Fasulo at 132 pounds. Mose Hayes won a major decision at 138 pounds, while Levi King had a decision at 195 and Seth Inama had a sudden victory at 120.
