CIA boys basketball tops Kenai JV


The Cook Inlet Academy boys basketball team opened up its season with a 49-28 victory over the host Kenai Central junior varsity Wednesday.

Colvin Moore had 16 points to lead the Eagles, while Ethan Boyd had 13 and James Boyd had nine.

Luke Armstrong paced the Kardinals JV with nine points.

Results of the CIA girls contest were not available Wednesday night and will be published Friday.
