Celebrate Life! 5K Run and Walk results posted

The ABC Pregnancy Care Center held the Celebrate Life! 5K Run and Walk on Saturday in Soldotna.

The run, which costs nothing to enter, had 319 participants, with 81 runners and 238 walkers. There also were 45 volunteers, 15 sponsors and multiple in-kind contributors.

The men’s run was won by Curtis McAnally in 18 minutes, 31 seconds, with Sean Verg-in taking second at 19:01 and Caleb Green coming in third at 19:35.

The top woman across the line was Michelle Mitchell in 19:21, with Hope Steffensen taking second at 19:41 and Kara Johnston claiming third at 22:03.
