Trio triumphs at Triumvirate

Guitarist Lisa Pimentel of LA rock trio No Small Children performs on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Triumvirate Theatre in north Kenai, Alaska. Pimentel, with bandmates Joanie Pimentel on bass and Nicola Berlinsky on drums, played at Nikiski Middle-High School on Friday afternoon, at Triumvirate Friday night, and at Alice’s Champaign Palace in Homer on Saturday. On Monday, the three return home from their month-long tour to resume their other gig as public school teachers. Their show at Triumvirate was a fundraiser for the Nikiski Children’s Fund, which distributes money to fill the needs of local children. (Photo by Ben Boettger/Peninsula Clarion)
