Visual artists wanted

The Kenai Peninsula Orchestra requests submissions of visual art in any medium inspired by the musical work of Modest Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition, as well as the artwork of Victor Hartmann, which inspired Mussorgsky.

On August 7 & 8, KPO will be performing Mussorgsky’s work and will present the artwork submitted in a multimedia presentation during the performance, as well as exhibit the art in the lobby. Victor Hartmann’s work can be found bit.ly/VHartmann

Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition may be heard at bit.ly/MMussorgsky along with a slide presentation similar to what KPO would like to show, featuring your artwork inspired by the piece. Submission deadline is July 1. Submission forms may be found at www.kpoalaska.com .
