The power in paper

The Power in Paper

Brent Johnson, Clam Gulch

What puts the zing

in advertising?

A parrot in your pocket

might do it.

But there is no pizazz

like a newspaper has

so you better pursue it.

I’ve seen a penchant for puns

and saving tight funds

—tactics for attention.

Good newspapers adorn

the streets every morn

—a dynamic dimension.

You can’t billow your sales

with boring details,

you need a hurricane.

And the very best way

to go on display

is a newspaper chain.
