July 4, noon-4 p.m. — Homemade Pie &Hot Dog Booth at Kenai’s July 4 Festivities, Fundraiser for Kenai Senior Connection, Inc.

July 4, All Day — Closed for Kenai’s July 4 Festivities. Parade begins at 11 a.m., Midway opens at Noon

July 6, 6:30 p.m. — Fireside Chat &Music featuring Bull Don, Donations accepted

July 6 — NO ZUMBA!

July 12, 1:00 p.m. — Visit to Soldotna’s Wednesday Market, $5 Ride Fee

July 14, 7:00 a.m. — Cooper Landing Rafting Trip (must register &pre pay at Center), $60 + lunch ticket

July 21, 6:30 p.m. — Polka Dance featuring The Alaska Button Box Gang, $5 + a finger food to share

July 24, 12:30 p.m. — Mystery Drive (must register &pre pat at the Center), $5 Ride Fee

10:00 -11:00 a.m. — Growing Strong Strength Training Class designed to decrease bone loss, One time $25 equipment fee

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. — Dog Therapy

11:00 – 11:30 a.m. — Bell Choir Practice

12:30 p.m. — Pinochle

1:00 p.m. — Beading, Bring your bead work.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. — Guitar Class with Gerald or Tom

1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m.-noon — Social Security. The Kenai Senior Center is the venue to talk to the Anchorage Social Security Office. First come first serve sign in sheet. No age limit or cost.

Community Meals are served Monday-Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) for a $7 suggested donation for individuals 60-plus years and a cost of $14 per person for those under 60. Our mission is to serve as a community focal point for senior services where elders may come together to engage in opportunities with dignity and personal growth. Please call 907-283-4156 or stop by 361 Senior Court, Kenai, anytime during our regular operating hours; 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Thursday evenings until 9:30 p.m.).
