Hilbrink makes Dean’s List at RIT

Xy Hilbrink of Ninilchik, who is in the film and animation program, made the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete”, “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Herrick named to UW Oshkosh Honor Roll

Megan Herrick of Soldotna has been named to the Honor Roll for the Fall 2017 semester at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

To qualify for the honor roll, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0).

Events, wedding, engagement and birth submissions may not be older than six months. Wedding anniversary announcements are printed in five-year increments beginning with the 20th.

The Community page is a way to highlight activities and events that happen with a photo. If your group or organization has a photo of an event to share, submit the photo and the following information for print: Who took the photo, who’s in it, when and where it was taken, a brief description of what’s happening, and a name and phone number in case we have questions.

Submissions are printed as space is available. For more information, call 335-1251.
