4H-er of the Month shares love of fiber arts

Matthea Boatright has been a member of the Fuzzy Wuzzies since the 2010 to 2011 4H year. During her years as a 4H-er, she has worked very hard alongside other Fuzzy Wuzzy members and their families keeping trash picked up along the roadways, as well as cleaning our meeting area before each of our monthly meetings during the school year. She has also prepared homemade goodies for many of our meetings, and has helped teach fiber art skills at our club meetings as well as at 4H Rally Days.

This past spring she attended Interweave Yarn Fest in Loveland, Colorado to learn new skills including spinning cotton on an akha spindle. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts with others.
