Is there anything good that can come out of reading yet another letter from the Commander of the “Alaskan Citizens Militia” (Peninsula Clarion, Oct. 10)? Well it motivates me to write.
What exactly are you saying? Take the law into our own hands? Put our defense in your hands? Are you asking some else to break the law and perhaps hurt someone else to put an end to Nikiski’s crime wave? Spell it out for us. The Alaska State Troopers are members of our community tasked with policing us within the law, not some thugs from elsewhere choosing what the law is, who broke it and how they should be punished.
