Central Peninsula Health Foundation would like to thank the following for their support of our community members battling cancer:
First, Soldotna Fred Meyer customers and associates for donating $3,045.66 in support of local cancer patients. The Soldotna Fred Meyer store accepted donations at checkstand collection boxes from Mid-August through early November, 2015. These funds will help provide direct support and treatment for local Kenai Peninsula cancer patients.
Second, the Kenai River Brown Bears Cancer Weekend contributed $5,275.00 to our Cancer Care Fund. This brings their total donations since 2009 to over $51,000.00.
Fred Meyer customers and associates and the Kenai River Brown Bear Organization deserve our gratitude for everything they do to support residents of the Kenai Peninsula who are affected by cancer.
