On behalf of the Marathon School and the Kenai Peninsula Youth Facility, I would like to thank Arby’s for their involvement and support in our Student-of-the-Week lunch and thank McDonald’s of Kenai for their weekly breakfast contribution to the school’s Team Captain Award. Along with these two local community businesses, a big shout-out goes out to the Challenger Learning Center and specifically Summer Lazenby for her monthly science presentation and labs conducted for all students. Your involvement and support extend beyond the walls of education and make a lasting impact on student learning, motivation, self-esteem, recognition for their hard work, and good citizenship.
