Madden, Pearson marry in Kasilof
Heather Rae Madden and Isaac Pier Pearson were married in an outdoor ceremony Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the home of the bride's parents in Kasilof. The couple were married under a specially built gazebo. The ceremony was officiated by the groom's aunt, Carrie Jacobs of Clarkston, Wash.
The bride is the daughter of Casey and Vick Madden. She is a 1999 graduate of Skyview High, 2003 Southern Oregon University grad with a bachelor's of science degree in health promotion/fitness management and a 2008 Oregon Institute of Technology graduate with a bachelor's of science degree in radiological technology. Heather is employed by Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage.
The bride wore an ivory sweetheart neckline tiara satin and organza full A-line wedding dress, with intricately embroidered bodice and hemline and semi-cathedral train. The maid of honor was Bethany Olson; matron of honor was Michelle Stinnett; "bridesman" was Nick Zerbinos; bridesmaid was Serena Murray and Kamilla Knittel was the flower girl. The women wore sage green cocktail dresses made by the bride's mother.
The groom is the son of Danny Pearson and Connie Knittel-Pearson of Dillingham. He is a 1995 Dillingham High School graduate and a 2003 University of Anchorage graduate with a bachelor's of science degree in civil engineering. He is employed by Bristol Environmental in Anchorage. Attendants for the groom were best man Marty Ingham; groomsmen David Henderson, Jeremy Mayer and Clint McArthur; "Groomsmaid" and sister of the groom, Lacey Schrader; Groomsman; and "Tippy" the grooms mix Labrador dog served as the ring bearer. The men wore tan suits with sage green vests and ties made by the bride's mother.
The wedding colors were eggplant and sage green. The flowers were done by the bride's aunt, master florist Carroll Knutson of Soldotna, and were plum, burgundy, pale pink, peach, and ivory, with many shades of green.
The reception dinner of grilled salmon and smoked beef and pork roast was catered by friends of the family, David Henderson of Anchorage and Warren Finley of Soldotna. The wedding cake and "moose" grooms cake was make by the groom's aunt, Letha Busey, of Anchorage with assistance by her daughters Alyssa and Brianne.
Entertainment was provided by friends of the bride, Zack Daniels and Billy Strain, and later karaoke.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Caribbean and reside in Anchorage
