Fried chicken dinner set to dish
The Sterling Senior Center will host a southern fried chicken dinner fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The menu will include fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, rolls, beverage of coffee or tea and bread pudding for dessert.
The cost is $12.50 for adults and $6.25 for children 10 years old and under. Call 262-6808 to sign up so the center can plan.
Basketball registration begins
The Boys and Girls Club is taking registrations for third- and fourth-grade basketball. The deadline to register is Nov. 25 at 4 p.m. The cost is $60, and the player must be a 2010 member of the Club. Practices start Jan. 4. For more information, call 283-3318.
Community ping pong continues
Public ping pong is held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Redoubt Elementary School. For more information, call Ron at 262-7899.
