Support makes for happy team, happy coaches

The new organization of F.A.D. (Friends of Athletes with Disabilities) would like to take this opportunity to thank the many organizations and people who have helped this to be a successful year. Our athletes will be off to the State Special Olympics on Nov. 20th through the 24th, with their new bowling shirts. We have a very happy team, coaches, and volunteers.

Our thanks to: Bridges Community Resource network, Kenai Peninsula Foundation, the Kenai Peninsula Homebuilders Assn, for donating the shed for our raffle, Marathon Pipeline Co. and Beemuns for the bike raffle, Frontier Community Services, Kenai Elks Lodge for their building, support, and donation, Tom for help with uniforms, Three Bears, Trustworthy Hardware, SBS, Alaska Bowling Lanes, and all the community who supported our raffle for the shed, the auction and the dinner. Special appreciation to Dante at the Peninsula Clarion for the great article.

We would like to express our appreciation for the incredible support this community has shown the Athletes with disabilities. Your support will help allow this community to be well represented at the State Bowling Tournament.
