Cordova, Bock announce nuptials

Andrea Cordova and Salty Bock were married in an afternoon ceremony Saturday, July 11, 2009, Moose meadow Cabins in Soldotna. Godfather of the groom, Lynn Kennedy, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Christine and Michael Tilly, of Kenai, and Andy Cordova, of Casa Grande, Ariz. She is a graduate of Soldotna High School. Andrea is employed in construction work in the summer and is stay at home mom in the winter. She wore a wedding gown was a Jasmine Italian satin, empire silhouette with a sweetheart neckline. Embroidery and beading decorated the bodice, skirt and train. The train was cathedral length. She carried a bouquet if hand-tied pink and white roses, filled with stephanotis and rhinestones throughout the bouquet. The brides attendants included sister of the bride, Shawna Tilly, as maid of honor and friend of the bride, Meghan Kruzick, matron of honor, both wore chocolate brown sleeveless chiffon short dresses with satin beaded straps. Vanessa Shanahan, Jessica Loggins and Jordan Hanson also served as maids of honor and also wore chocolate brown sleeveless chiffon short dresses with satin beaded straps. Flower girl, Autum Kruzick, was attired in an ivory long princess dress.

The groom is the son of Helena and Craig Bock, of Ninilchik. He is a graduate of Ninilchik High School. Salty is employed by the State of Alaska Department of Transportation. He wore a black tuxedo with a mossy oak vest and tie. Best man, Christopher Kruzick, wore a matching tux ensemble, as did groomsmen, Finely Bock, Tim Bock, Billy Bock, Lucas Loggins, Jeremy Pellitier; ushers, Michael Tilly Jr., and Gage Bock; and 18-month-old ring bearer and son of the newlyweds, Mason Bock.

The reception was held at the Kenai Eagles Club.

Wedding highlight included taking a ride in a lime green Willie boat on the Kenai River driven by Kenai Fire chief and step-dad of the bride, Catain Mike Tilly.

The couple make their home in Kasilof.
