Royer, Weisz marry

Danielle Lynn Royer of Newport Center, Vt., and David Allen Weisz Jr. of Kenai were married in an afternoon Catholic ceremony Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009. at St. Mary's Star of the Sea, Newport, Vt. The Rev. Yvon Royer officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Diane Chaput and Daniel and Rose Royer, all of Newport Center. Attending the bride was Kristi Royer as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shawna Royer, Jenae Weisz and Caitlin Lowell. Adrianna Chaput served as flower girl. Danielle is working for Three Bears Alaska Inc. as a corporate office manager. She also is working for Matanuska Telephone Association as level I DSL Tech Support. She graduated from North Country Union High School in 2003 and earned her associate degree at Vermont Technology College for computer engineering technology with the class of 2005. She earned her bachelor degree in 2007 for computer networking management with Westwood College Online.

The groom is the son of Lisa and Maurice Shultz of Tok and David and Traci Weisz of Wasilla. Attending the groom was Zack Weisz as the best man. Groomsmen were Dustin Royer, Justin Weisz and Derek Royer. Logan Chaput served as the ring bearer. David is working for Three Bears Alaska Inc. as a buyer/supervisor. He graduated from Kenai Central High School 2001. He is a former United States Marine where he spent four years serving his country.

Highlights included a video montage of the couple's lives made by the couple, sparklers held by each guest in an arrangement of a heart and balloons released into the sky by their family and friends in memory of loved ones.

The couple took a mini honeymoon in New York City and are planning another honeymoon in Bora Bora.

They reside in Wasilla. The couple plan to move to Vermont.
