Lackore, Flippin marry in Iowa

Melissa Lackore and Derrick Flippin of West Des Moines, Iowa, were married in an afternoon ceremony, Saturday, May 24, 2008, in Des Moines, Iowa. Pastor Doug Domokos officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Val Lackore of Forest City, Iowa.

The bride wore a white A line sleeveless gown and carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies. Cara Calease and Maggie Fitzgerald served as maids of honor. Desirae Swanson and Sandy Ralls were the bridesmaids. The brides attendants wore black tea length sleeveless dresses.

The groom is the son of Dan Flippin of Nikiski and Joyce Flippin of Montezuma, Iowa. Jarred Flippin served as best man and Travis Voshell, Harley Luck and Justin Lackore served as groomsmen.

Servings as ushers were Wade McElroy, Kyle McCreery and Matt Peik. Kaiden McElroy and Kaylee Flippin, were the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.

The wedding reception was held in downtown Des Moines.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise.
