Resident appreciates work on road project
Letter to the Editor

I would like to thank, first and foremost, Sen. Tom Wagoner for his diligence and effort over the last three years for ensuring that our expanding residential area along Jones Road receives the badly needed upgrade to our substandard road. I would like to recognize Sen. Wagoner in his efforts in ensuring that the residents would have a community meeting with Carl High, Peninsula District superintendent for the Alaska DOT, and Mike Penrod, project manager for Jones Road Rehabilitation.

I would like to express gratitude to the aforementioned gentlemen in facilitating the meeting to ensure that the residents' questions and concerns were addressed. I would also like to thank Kenai Peninsula Road Director Gary Davis for taking the time to attend the meeting, listen to our concerns and answer our questions.
