Bordelon, Edelman plan to wed

Layne Michael Bordelon and Steven Scott Edelman, of Lafayette, La., formerly of Nikiski, plan to marry June 24, 2011, in Oahu, Hawaii.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Diane Bordelon and the the late Dwayne Bordelon, of Lafayette. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana Lafayette with a bachelor's degree in education. Layne is employed as a ninth-grade social studies teacher.

The future groom is the son of Norman and Melissa Edelman, of Kapolei, Hawaii. He is a student at the University of Louisiana, studing mechanical engineering. Steven is employed as a salesman at Honda Motorcycles of Lafayette.
