The Ninth Annual Tri-Club Ray Husby Memorial Golf Classic was a great success!

The Tri-Club (Kenai Moose Lodge, Kenai Elks Lodge and the American Legion Post 20) raised several thousands of dollars, which will go toward local high school scholarships. We could not have done it without the support of local businesses that generously sponsored holes and donated items for the tournament. Special thanks to hole sponsors: Peak Oilfield Services, Law Office of Kenneth W. Cole, Peninsula Internal Medicine, Alaskan Hills, Duck Inn, Kenai Post Office, Rorrison Fish Site, American Legion, 40/8 American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Kenai River Campground, Loyal Order of the Moose employees, Kenai Moose Lodge, Moose Legion and Higher Degrees, Kenai Moose board of officers, Alyeska Sales and Service, Kenai Elks Lodge, Central Peninsula Habitat for Humanity, Law Office of Cowan, Gerry & Aaronson, Kurt's Carpets, Agrium, Good Time Charlie's, Mykel's and Peterkin.

Also a big thanks to the following people and businesses who made donations of food and/or door prizes: Coca Cola, Safeway Liquor, Sue Leritz, Ken Cole, Kenai Firefighters Association, Peninsula Moose Family Center, Mike Navarre, Vickie Shillam, Del Sanders, Country Foods, AK Distributors, K & L Distributors, Specialty Imports and Odom.
