Junior tourney a success
Eight kids played in the Ninth Annual Junior Golf Tournament, held for kids between the ages of eight and 17, at Birch Ridge Golf Course on Thursday.
Jake Eubank, competing in the 12-year-old boys grouping, was the overall junior champ, shooting a 46. Tyler Yamada placed second in the 13-year-old boys group with a 49. In the 12-year-old boys group, Sterling Stasak (64) finished first and Tommy Blada (66) took second. For nine-year olds, Trayton Bird took first, while Austen Eriksson finished second; and Aubrianna Bright and Shelbi Bird both finished first in the 14-year-old girls group.
