Ulen triumphs at Alaska Raceway Park

Mariah Ulen of Soldotna increased her season points lead in the Junior Dragster on Sunday at Alaska Raceway Park in Palmer. Ulen notched a victory over Sean Kordewick of Anchorage and now leads Kordewick by 46 points. The races on Sunday were held in strong crosswinds.

Ischi takes Main Event again

Pete Ischi took the Main Event for sprint cars on Saturday at Twin Cities Raceway in the Sprint Car Invitational put on by the Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions Circle Track Division.

Cameron McGahan took Heat 1 for sprint cars. In A-Stock, Scott Braswell took the Main Event and Heat 1, while Charley Michel took the Main Event and Heat 1 in B-Stock.
