Cooks leaving affects reader

Our son lives in Kasilof. We have become friends of John and Suzie Cook through the years that our son has lived there. I have your paper online in my "favorites" list so I can keep up with things.

As they are retiring from the "T," I feel very melancholy. John and Suzie have helped many young people like our son through these 16 or so years.

I'm sure there are other parents who are glad John, Suzie and the "T" were there for their kids. They are two of the most kind-hearted people I know, and I wish them nothing but a great retirement.

However, I just don't think things will be the same at the "T" without them. But like the rest of their friends, I'll have to deal with it the best that I can.
