Description: The theme of this year's summer reading program theme is "Discover New Trails at Your Library." There will be a celebration of the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition with stories, activities and prizes.
Ages: Birth through eighth grade
Dates: For school-age children, Mondays from June 7-July 12

Description: This summer program introduces phonics to students entering kindergarten and first grade. There will be two sessions. Enroll-ment is limited.
Ages: Children entering kindergarten and first grade
Dates: Monday through Friday, June 7-18
Hours: The first session will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; the second session will be from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Description: Trails of of all kinds will be explored through programs, books and activities during the summer program, "Discover New Trails at Your Library." A writing contest and a recipe contest also will be featured, along with Saturday afternoon activities for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Ages: Preschool through young adults
Dates: June 5-July 16, with a closing party July 17 that will include refreshments, games and awards
Hours: Saturday activities are at 2 p.m. (schedule available when registering)
Story time is from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays.
