Great Alaskan Outdoor Camp  


Sponsoring organization: Soldotna Community Schools

Description: The Great Alaskan Outdoor Camp is an outdoor-oriented exploratory summer day camp for one, two or three weeks. The teaching staff's main objective is to fill the three weeks with activities that will expand the student's knowledge of the place where they live (Alaska ‹ specifically the Kenai Peninsula), and also continue to sharpen their academic skills with reading, writing, math, science and social studies.

Ages: Students who have finished fourth, fifth or sixth grade

Dates: June 21-July 9 (13 days total)

Hours: Noon to 6 p.m.

Cost: $250 for three weeks or $110 per week, payable with mail-in registration form by May 28 to Soldotna Community Schools.
