Band Camp


Sponsoring organization: Soldotna Community Schools

Description of event: There will be a band camp taught by Kent Peterson, band director for Skyview High, K-Beach Elementary and Sterling Elementary schools, and Tammy Vollom-Matturo and Jeanne Duhan, elementary music and band instructors.

High school students will work with the younger students.

The camp will end with a 4 p.m. concert and family picnic on June 4.

Ages: Students who have finished fifth, sixth, seventh or eighth grade and have had at least one year of band

Dates: Tuesday through Friday, June 1-4

Hours: 1 to 4 pm

Cost: $75, payable with mail-in registration form by May 17 to Soldotna Com-munity Schools.
