Kenai Summer Clubhouse


Sponsoring organization: The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Kenai Peninsula

Description of event: Some of the activities that will be offered during the Kenai Summer Clubhouse include digital music, Photoshop, web page design, digital art, Japanese week, talent show, gardening, baby-sitting safety course, baseball, big messy art, bowling, flag football, bike riding, rollerblading, beading, soccer, kite making, beach exploration, game design, animal study, pool tournaments and cooking. Weekly field trips are planned. Some of the activities planned will have a small fee to help cover any costs.

Ages: Must have completed first grade through 12 years of age

Dates: Session No 1 ‹ June 7-30; Session No. 2 ‹ July 1-30; and Session No. 3 ‹ Aug. 2-23

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: $125 per child, per session with Boys and Girls Club membership of $20 per year; scholarships available
