Wilderness Journey


Sponsoring organization: Immanuel Baptist Church

Description: Young people will take an imaginary journey through the wilderness with the children of Israel, learning the lessons they learned as they left Egypt to go to the Promised Land. Teacher James Grant will have them gather the wood for the journey, sing the songs of Moses and then have a lesson.

Ages: 6-12

Dates: Every Wednesday night throughout the summer

Time: 7 p.m.

Location: Immanuel Baptist Church, Mile 15 K-Beach Road

Other: Every Sunday morning at 10 a.m., kids of all ages meet for a song and to celebrate birthdays before going to age appropriate Sunday School classes. After a brief break at 11 a.m., they meet in the gym for Junior Church, a time of singing, stories, lessons and crafts or games.

Bus transportation is available starting June 6.
