About This Section

Kenai Peninsula kids can't get away with that old summer chant that goes "There's nothing to do around here" this summer.

There's so much to do, it may be a problem figuring out which special activity to choose.

The activities in the following pages contradict the notion of lazy days ahead. Kids will find ample opportunity to hone academic and athletic skills as well as creatively experiment with art, music, and drama activities.

Oh, yes, and there are plenty of things to do that fall under the label of pure "fun."

The events listed are those in which sponsors and organizers responded to the Peninsula Clarion's request for information. We appreciate their help and hope parents find this guide useful in selecting fun, safe and supervised activities for their children.

Also included in the pages of "Just Kidding" are a variety of games and puzzles for youngsters of all ages to enjoy.
