Dogs are packing up. I grew up in Fairbanks and it seemed that every year a child was killed by dog packs. Not wild dogs, domestic "pets" that are allowed to run free. Dogs are packing up on the North Road. It is so bad that the local school bus contractor has asked drivers to report areas where dogs are packing.

I have seen a dog pack kill moose out north. I have personally heard reports from people in Nikiski who are afraid to walk in their neighborhoods because of these packs.

Parents be aware. Report dog packs. Three dogs are a pack and of concern. Don't wait for a child to die before stopping the packs.
