Homer Jackpot Halibut Derby Coordinator Linda Winter pulls in a halibut Saturday during the 19th annual Homer Jackpot Halibut Derby Tagging Cruise. This fish, along with more than 90 others, was caught, tagged and released in Kachemak Bay as part of the derby which begins Saturday. Anglers who catch tagged fish will earn cash prizes ranging from $100 to $10,000 ‹ if they buy a derby ticket, that is.
