There will be a track meet at SMS on Friday with field events starting at 3 p.m. and running events beginning at 3:30.

The sixth-graders from the elementary schools will visit SMS next week. The parent night for incoming sixth-grade students will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The combined SMS choirs attended the Mass Choir Festival in Homer on Monday.

There are less than 200 yearbooks left. Yearbook video CDs are on sale for $6. Orders can be placed at the office. CDs will be available the last week of school.

Fourth-quarter fitness testing in physical education will begin the week of May 10. Be sure to be preparing at home and in PE.

Mrs. Church's annual Egyptian fashion show was Tuesday, and Egypt projects are on display in the hallways.

Alex Janorschke is the April chamber of commerce Student of the Month.
