Anywhere on the peninsula, call 911 for emergency ambulance and fire assistance, even on the road.
Those without cellular phones can contact emergency services at call boxes at specific mileposts along the Seward Highway. Call 911. They are at Mile 68.3 (Turnagain Pass); Mile 56 (Hope Road Junction); Mile
45.5 (Summit Lake Lodge); and Mile 38 (Sterling High-way).

Central Peninsula General Hospital: 250 Hospital Place, Soldotna, 262-4404; emergency department, 262-8123. Take the Kenai Spur Highway to Marydale and turn left on Hospital Place.
South Peninsula Hospital: 4300 Bartlett St., Homer, 235-8101. Take the Sterling Highway to Pioneer Avenue on the left and turn left on Bartlett.
Providence Seward Medical Center: 417 First Ave., Seward, 224-5205. The Seward Highway turns into Third Avenue in town. Turn right on Jefferson and right on First Avenue.
