Caregiver meetings set

The National Family Caregiver Support Program will hold the following meetings:

* Soldotna „ From to 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, a caregiver support meeting will be held at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center.

* Soldotna „ From 1 to 3 p.m. April 7, "Safe Transfer: Hands-on training" with Nancy Farrington, will be held at the Soldotna Senior Citizens Center.

After-grad, after-prom planning planned

Soldotna High School parents of juniors after prom-part planning committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the teachers lounge.

The SoHi parents of senior after-graduation party planning committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. For more information, call Carmen at 262-2791.

Spring bazaar offered

The Nikiski Senior Center will hold a spring bazaar and bake sale April 3 through 5 at the center. Tables are available for rent fro $15 a day of $30 for three days.

Door prizes, a drawing for a barbecue grill are planned. For more information, call 776-7654, Ext. 6.

Book sale planned

The Soldotna Public Library volunteers will hold a used book sale from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the library at 235 Binkley St. Donations of books and puzzles in good condition are sought.

Counseling group to meet in April

The Kenai Peninsula Counseling Association will meet from noon to 1 p.m. April 7 at 35126 K-B Dr. No. 3 in Soldotna. It is open to the public. For more information or directions, e-mail Beth at bselby@alaska.net

Public radio fundraiser slated

Pickle Hill Public Broadcasting will hold the "Winter Blues and All That Jazz Raffle" as a fundraiser for KDLL 91.9 FM. Five prizes will be awarded. First prize is a Boston Acoustics Receptor Digital HD radio, second- and fourth-place prizes are $300 gift certificates from Sweeney's Clothing in Soldotna, the third- and fifth-place prizes are 10 seats on Upper Kenai River Scenic float trip from Alaska River Adventures. Ticket prices are $5 each or five for $20 and are available at KDLL or from any boardmember.

The drawing will be held May 23 at KDLL. Participants need not be present to win. For more information, e-mail Allen Auxier at allen@kdllradio.org.
