I am writing to express my disappointment over President Bush's decision to veto the bill HR 2082. This bill prevents the Central Intelligence Agency and other U.S. agents from using waterboarding, sexual humiliation dogs and other techniques that amount to torture.

The Bush Administration continues its reckless disregard for basic decency. President Bush asserts that the United States "does not torture," then has the audacity to veto anti-torture legislation.

I applaud Congress for not validating torture as an interrogation tactic and passing the bill.
