Regarding Alice Shannon’s letter: Even the devil believes in God. Your letter was caustic and not well thought out or prepared to share with your fellow mankind. In the USA, and in the eyes of God we have the freedom to believe or not.

As for Charles Winston Bolen III: you are doing exactly what you are up on your soap box complaining about — being ignorant and intolerant. You also are creating division. Your letter is fueled by hate while you are “bloated with self-importance.” You call God the “great delusion in the sky.” Ê

And now the entire world has been shown how you too stoop right down to pettiness. Yes, ignorance and hate are still alive.

Would it hurt to look at people as “human beings” without putting them all into categories with labels?
