Reader supports initiative process
Letter to the Editor


In response to the "Voice of the Times" on Jan. 15, I cannot see how getting the people's voice out of our goverment would be a good thing. Perhaps Hitler or some other socialist/totalitarian type of ruler would go along with this type of opinion. But here in America the goverment is supposed to work for the people. If anything, we need more people voicing their opinions, more people voting, more people watching our goverment at all levels and more people getting involved to keep our politicians in line.
