SCHOOLS Peninsula Clarion With the exception of having taken a couple of math classes at Homer High, McKenzie has been home-schooled all her life. Her commitment to learning in this nontraditional setting is philosophical and ideological; her consistent and disciplined academic efforts have always been noteworthy. She is interested in medicine and plans to begin her postsecondary studies at Hillsdale College in Michigan. She is grateful to have received several local scholarships.
